She loves it and my dad is happy to have fried chicken again. I got this for my mom because with only her and my father at home, she still continues to cook as if there are four of us.
I can't say it enough the FryDaddy Electric Deep Fryer is a great little gadget. It saves time in the kitchen.
Great for quick buffalo wings, mini tacos or home made potato chips. Heats up quickly, and as long as you don't overstuff it, touch the outside while it's hot, or have an IQ over 50, you should have no problems with it. Purchased this as a Christmas gift to myself, and it has been awesome. I've used it quite a few times, using canola oil.
burned myself when I pushed it slightly away from the edge of the counter. After much hemming and hawing on whether to get a frier, I decided to get a cheap little one and see if I liked it. So I gave this FryDaddy a try, as I remember my mom having one when we were kids. It works VERY well, it's not pricey like many others, and it'll fit into your fridge or cabinet very easily.
It's pretty small, so it fits into my small kitchen -- not sure i'd have room for one of the bigger ones after all. So, if price and space are concerns for you -- this is the way to go. Yes, it's hot oil so it's very HOT and will cook food very fast, but you'll be pleasantly suprised how fast. And fast.
OMG - so nice. And while the kids are eating those, I can cook up more. Thinking that I could get a bigger one later. Now, this little fryer holds a decent amount of food -- not big enough to hold a couple of chicken breasts, but big enough to hold 7-8 chicken nuggets at a time.
VERY hot. First of all -- I ¢¾LOVE¢¾ that I don't have all that spatter to clean off my stovetop. Second, something I probably would have learned if I read the directions - was that it gets hot on the outside.
She loves it and uses it with a smile - which makes me smile. I bought this sweet little unit for my wife to replace one we had used literally to death.
